New Canon G10 Compact Digital Camera

Canon announced today their new flagship PowerShot compact digital camera: PowerShot G10 will be launch very soon. G10 is a replacement of the current G9 model. At first look, the spec is impressive. It offer wide-angle imaging, 35mm viewing angle equivalent of a 28-140mm lens( with optical Image Stabilizer). 14.7 Megapixel sensor with raw shooting mode. New DIGIC 4 image processor, it is the same processor that used in EOS 50D and 5D Mark II digital SLRs. Outstanding detail allows printing in sizes of up to A2, or creative cropping in post-processing.

G10 also offer a new ‘i-Contrast’ feature designed to increase dynamic range in images. What it means is that G10 can brings out previously unnoticed detail in dark areas like shadows - without blowing out lighter areas.
